Tell us about your practice.
I provide commercial litigation defense services for business and insurance companies of all sizes. When a company is involved in litigation, I investigate the claim, conduct discovery, negotiate a resolution with opposing parties, and defend their interests at trial. Most of my clients are large retail, restaurant, construction, and trucking companies, so I get to work on a wide variety of issues in cases all across the U.S.

If you had to choose a non-legal career, what would it be?
I’d be a veterinarian! I love working with animals and would enjoy learning about the wide variety in the animal kingdom.

Tell us about a recent book you have read or podcast you have listened to.
“I Am Athlete.” I’ve enjoyed listening to former professional athletes talk about their personal stories and experiences. Sometimes we see only see athletes as performers or entertainers, but hearing more about their backgrounds and perspectives has been a cool learning experience.

What is the last show you have binged watched?
Peaky Blinders. I love a good ol’ fashion mob or gangster show.

What advice would you give to someone considering law school?
Do it! But make sure you have a passion or reason for going into the legal field. Law school and legal practice can be very stressful and draining. If you have a goal, purpose, or other motivation to encourage yourself through the process, that will serve you well.

What is your favorite summer activity?
I enjoy going to outdoor festivals and fairs. I can never get enough of the games, rides, music, and junk food!

What are your hobbies?
I enjoy cooking, salsa dancing, volunteering, and playing video games.
